About
Oh, dear. About me, hm?
I have been crafting since the age of five, when my mother threw an embroidery project at me and said "Go!". She taught me to knit and crochet as well, but she waited until I was at least seven for that. My grandma taught me to sew at about the same age.
My parents also took me to the local Renaissance Faire when I was maybe ten. It stuck. I started making costumes for the Faire for myself and others in tenth grade and wore a pseudo-Elizabethan to my senior prom.
My involvement with the Society for Creative Anachronism did not begin until I went to college. Now I have somewhere to wear these costumes all year long! I also do a bit of research on period herbals, but not much yet.
